Based in Bulgaria, the studio is a carefully assembled environment dedicated to analogue sound, bringing together an extensive collection of modular systems, rare synthesizers, drum machines, processors and acoustic instruments gathered over many years.
More than a conventional production room, it is a working archive of electronic instruments from different generations and schools of sound. The equipment is maintained to be played, explored and recorded rather than simply displayed.
This environment allows ideas to move naturally between instruments, modular systems, recording techniques and analogue processing throughout production, mixing and mastering.
Every project is approached according to the recording itself and the intention behind it, without relying on a fixed processing chain or automatic formula.
Reference material, sequencing, intended format and the relationship between tracks are considered before final decisions are made. An album requires a different perspective from a single track, while club music can demand different priorities from ambient or experimental material.
