LYNNE

Lynne is a Japanese artist who explores the outer realms of techno, experimental, and drum ‘n’ bass. First emerging in 2013 as part of Tokyo’s underground scene, Lynne established herself quickly, winning the Samurai Music Mix competition and playing regularly at respected Tokyo institutions. Over time her sound evolved from its DnB roots to include more textural, obscure and experimental layers as she became fascinated with building emotive atmospheres and twisting them to her rhythm. Now an Astral Industries and Unknown Species resident, Lynne resides between Tokyo and London. She is an artist who is most comfortable in the grey space between genres, where her rhythm is a gravitational force pulling dancers in all the right directions.
