KATABASIS

Katabasis is a multi-disciplinary artist focussed on sound culture and meditative listening practise. Through a number of years, his efforts to distil the findings of his sound research are a resulting catalogue of world ethnographies, textural artefacts and performative concepts. Like trailing coordinates on an uncharted map, such research is a process of slow but constant evaluation and refinement. Form and method are equally as important as the rich embroideries of tones and textures that may flow from the sound source.
