Dear Friends, I am currently moving through a period of serious health fragility and recovery.
This page exists to transparently share my situation with friends, collaborators, and extended community members who wish to understand what is happening and how they may support this stabilisation period.

Current Medical Situation – Severe Anaemia

My current haemoglobin level is 7 g/dL, which is considered medically severe anaemia.

For reference:
– Normal haemoglobin levels are typically 12–15 g/dL
– At level 7, the body functions with significantly reduced oxygen delivery to organs and muscles.

At this level, even basic physical functioning becomes demanding, as I am currently experiencing:

– extreme fatigue
– dizziness and physical weakness
– shortness of breath
– reduced concentration
– chest discomfort
– episodes of light panic attacks related to oxygen deprivation and strain on the cardiovascular system

I have already begun iron infusion therapy, which supports recovery. Under stable conditions and medical monitoring, haemoglobin levels are expected to rise gradually over the coming months – depending on rest, treatment response, and prevention of further blood loss.

Root Cause

The primary cause of this state is a benign tumour, which had previously been stable, and has recently grown, leading to increased bleeding and resulting in the drop of haemoglobin to a critical level.

This creates a medical cycle:

– bleeding lowers haemoglobin
– low haemoglobin weakens the body
– surgery becomes unsafe until haemoglobin levels recover

For this reason, stabilisation must focus first on restoring haemoglobin while managing the tumour simultaneously.

Surgery — Medical Recommendation & Personal Approach

Doctors in Norway have currently suggested  major surgery.

However, surgery cannot safely take place until haemoglobin levels improve – a process that may take several months.

My approach is not in opposition to medical care. I am grateful for medical supervision and ongoing treatment.

At the same time, I am deeply oriented toward integrative and alternative medicine, and for me health decisions are also connected to long-term physical and emotional alignment.

At this stage, a radical surgery feels extremely invasive if stabilisation may allow safer and less drastic options. I have consulted additional specialists as well as integrative practitioners, and my current intention is to first stabilise and support recovery before making irreversible decisions.

My current focus is therefore on:

– iron infusion therapy to stabilise haemoglobin levels safely
– reduce bleeding naturally where possible through herbal and integrative treatments alongside medical monitoring
– deep rest and nervous system recovery

– regain enough physical strength and stability to explore deeper restorative treatment, including Ayurvedic or integrative approaches aligned with long-term wellbeing
– avoid radical surgery if possible
– and, if necessary later, proceed with a less invasive surgery.

Healthcare Situation in Norway

Although I recently worked in Norway for two months and gained partial access to reduced medical costs – including blood work and iron infusions – I currently:

– do not yet have full rights
– lack active medical insurance coverage in my home country after years spent living in the UK

Restoring this coverage is important so that treatment or surgery can be safely supported if ultimately required.

Why I Am Asking for Support

To safely move through this 2–3 month stabilisation and recovery period, I need support covering:

– housing during recovery in Norway
– food and essential daily living expenses
– ongoing medical monitoring and blood tests
– regular iron infusions
– restoration of health insurance coverage in Bulgaria

I aim to raise approximately €5,000, allowing my body the time and safety needed to recover blood levels, stabilise the tumour, and regain strength so that future medical decisions can be made calmly rather than under physical emergency.

A Gesture of Gratitude

As a thank you after recovery, I would love to send exchange something in return.

A natural incense made entirely without synthetic chemicals using traditional methods, as well as light cashmere scarves offered simply as a gesture of gratitude.

My focus now is rest, healing, and stabilisation, so responses may sometimes be slow.

Thank you for your care, kindness, and support during this period.

With love,
Nathalia 🤍
