Sacha Khalifé is a composer and guitarist connected to many cultural and musical traditions. He embodies a distinct post-modernist sonic identity under the moniker Shcaa. Khalifé’s navigates between a fascination for blues and its diverse iterations, electronic minimalism and an obsession with cinematic narrative processes that often structure his works. Amidst this intricate musical tapestry lies a recurrent motif—an expressive unity reflective of Shcaa’s fundamental quest: to explore the natural world through the language of sound frequencies, seeking connections with human emotions and the vast expanse of the infinite.

Shcaa’s performances provide ample room for improvisation, re-exploring libraries of sonic materials, unleashed seamlessly through the medium of guitar and digital manipulation. These performances encapsulate a realm where experimentation melds seamlessly with the aesthetic considerations, inviting listeners into contemplation, self-scrutiny, and reminiscences.
